Daarna wilden ze er eigenlijk niet meer weg. Namibi\u00eb is buitengewoon mooi door de uitgestrektheid en leegte, de bijzondere natuur, de natuurparken en de verschillende bevolkingsgroepen. Wat deze lezing heel bijzonder maakt zijn <!--more-->de ontmoetingen met bevolkingsgroepen, zoals de Damara en de Himba, die ze in hun huidige nederzettingen hebben bezocht.
